When food was about the Toy.


An unopened box of Pepperidge Farm goldfish crackers sits on the family coffee table. Nothing at all interesting about that, it's been there since last night, EXCEPT this morning, I realized it's got cartoony characters on it. Mind you that I'm too old to know who those cartoon characters are, BUT the box says there is a Free 3D card that comes with every box!!! My instinct? Rip open the box to grab the card!!! I opened the box, and there sits the silver foil bag full of crackers, but no 3D card! Feeling extremely cheated, I remembered that the toy was always mixed in with the food. So I ripped open the bag and TAH-DAH! The 3D card!!! The card does nothing, it means nothing to me, but fun nonetheless looking for it. I looked at the card, left it on the table and closed the cracker box - it was too early for "The snack that smiles back!" and quite truthfully, they don't taste that good. =p
