People, words and their emotions.

Each day passes and all of us collect the little tidbits learnt from the day and we save them into our little repositories (some larger than others, and some seals in "freshness" longer than others). In our infantile years, the only way we knew to communicate our feelings was to cry. Later, we learned to scream AND cry when displeased (i.e. give it to me NOW or I'll scream until you cave!). Bratty as those years may have been, it wasn't long until we were taught to communicate verbally. That worked out well for a few years (I call those the tattletale years when kids actually told the truth and ratted on each other!). As verbal skills advanced, we started using words to call each other names and hurt each other (i.e. Don't talk to her, she ugly! - I'm still saddened by that comment if anyone was wondering). At what point did things go wrong? Why has it become such a battle to express ourselves? I just want to say that I just got a very bad paper cut this morning and I'm grumpy! That was totally irrelevant, but I just felt like sharing.

Simplicity is the key that unlocks the door to Happiness.
