Ladies and Gentlemen. If I could have your attention please.

Let me first begin by telling you that I don't review movies much. I watch a lot of them, but I never sit down and 'write' a review, though I probably aren't shy about telling you what I thought about them.

My movie of interest today is: The Expendables.

THIS MOVIE IS AN 80s ACTION MOVIE. It was filmed like it's from the 80s, it's got scores from the 80s (or sounds like it anyway) and it's got a bunch of 80s action heros in it with a very thin storyline and lots of one-liner zingers. Take it for what it is - A fun, mindless bullet fest! It's not a mind blowing movie, it was never intended to be. It's just fun, funny and if you allow it - it was really quite enjoyable. Don't take the fighting, bullets and explosions too seriously and you might be surprised at how much fun you can have watching this movie. I know I did. It was wicked..in an 80s kind of way!

I've rekindled my little bit of a crush for Jason Statham and sly. :)

If you're an 80s child and you love 80s action movies. GO SEE IT!
