Savouring the last of Aruba.
It's my last morning in Aruba - the comments were true, the island is as windy as everyone claims it to be. I'm presently sitting by the beach, tapping away on my bberry (I know I shouldn't be, but this moment needed to be captured just so), there aren't too many people around and this 'one happy island' finally seems like 'one peaceful island'. There aren't other noises outside the calls of the seagulls and the gentle waves gliding ashore. Occasionally, you can hear the pelican's dive into the sea. And even less frequently, when the breeze is blowing just right, I can smell the ocean - a wonderful treat on top of all things.
So here I am, alone (...naturally), enjoying this peaceful solitude. During this short period of 'alone' time, it has rained three times, each lasting no more then 20seconds, I have seen the rainbow on four separate occasions and just as I'm bidding this beautiful beach good-bye, it rains again......
See you in yyz!
