Dining alone.

As I've said before, I quite enjoy spending time with myself because I'm AWESOME! hehe, no, that's not it, I am just comfortable with eating alone, but I can also understand why most people would prefer not to.

I was eating by myself last night awhile ago (I had pho) and I couldn't help but listen in on this conversation a little boy was having with his mother. Strangely, it was a pretty one sided conversation, the mother was preoccupied with her infant (3months?) but the little boy (3-4yrs old) babbled on. He was very well-spoken for his age, sort of like the kids Welches commercials hire, except I found him cute instead of creepy. Anyway, some of the things he said really surprised me, it's almost strange for me to see a child so cultured in the different types of food.

Little Boy on tea:
"I like this tea mommy, it's very light like water but with just a little bit of flavour - a little bit bitter."

Little Boy on the art of persuasion:
"This soup isn't like miso soup, it's just like regular soup. Try it."

Little Boy on entrepreneurship:
"If I had a restaurant, I would make juices with all the fruits and vegetables leftover from that day, but just one hour before closing so then I can serve the juices as water for the last hour and it would be good."

While I'm impressed by the smallest splendours of life, lots of obvious things annoy me and I think my goal is to not let anything negative get to me.
