A difference pace.

I noticed on my way to work this morning that everyone walks at a different pace. Depending on the day, the company and the time, I travel at different speeds. What do you do when you meet someone who will only walk at their pace? Take a parent walking a child to school, while the parent might think they are walking slowly, some of them fail to recognize that their child's little legs are running to keep up - One stride equals three for the child. How long will the child be able to run until they trip and fall? I think most of us just think that little ones are clumsy, but I think it's often because the child is playing catch-up.

Similarly, as adults, who sets the pace and how do we know what is a sustainable pace? I think consideration and accomodation is the key. Anyway, I'm not sure where I'm going with this, I just know that the older you are, the harder your fall...and no, standing still is not an option.

sounds like you're being cryptic again, is this little observation something of an allegory? especially the bit at the end.
