And it flew out of my hand.

My roomee was nice enough last night to humour me by playing the Wii with me. What I didn't tell her was that the game we'll play is one that you don't really die, you just keep going. Anyway, having said that, the blister on my thumb should come with no surprise to you. When I told my roomee about the blister, she said, "I have no words for you..." Hmm, not sure how to take that one =) hehe, I think prior to that she called me a dork (the endearing kind, of course!).

After about half an hour of play, the roomee went to sleep and I continued to play. I started a tennis match on the Wii - I was losing to the computer =( It was a close match and with one big swing... *SNAP*

The strap on the controller broke and at the same time my hand slipped sending the remote flying across the room into the kitchen. I was speechless as I watched the remote deflect off the steel stove oven and then slamming into the kitchen cupboard.

I was soooo relieved that it didn't hit my TV, I think I would have cried if it did...

In the end, minimal damage was done, just a dent on the door of the stove oven (did I mention that it's stainless steel?), broken strap and the remote control is in perfect condition. I'm punishing myself by disallowing Wii play for...well, maybe I'll just promise to be more careful next time =)
