Les Miserable.

It was wonderful. I really did enjoy the show, mucho gracias to he who "drives a black [car]" with the ridiculous spoiler! hehe...

Here's the funny bit, prior to seeing Les mis, he sent me a few songs off the sound track and I remember saying, "What the crap IS this stuff?" Now after the show, I find myself humming its tunes and a handful of selected songs are on my playlist too *blush* The sounds of tragedy can be so...Therapeutic.

It is quite wonderful isn't it?
I saw it when it first opened this time and it was so powerful even though I had seen it a number of times in the past. Great theatre stays great no matter how many times you see it.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Hehe..I was wondering whether you would because of the sap-inducing emotional qualities. I remember crying during the last few scenes just because of how powerful, yet frail, the characters seemed. (and this was WAY before I turned into a big sap)

Some elements of the play I found silly, but generally, I liked it =) Who doesn't love a play where so many ppl die?!

That’s not what a good play is all about.
It’s got to have only one death and lots of making out.
An upside down tree or two and it’s sure to be a shout.
