Itzhak Perlman.

A Virtuoso of the violin - so I was told. Having never been to the symphony, I have had the pleasure of being in Perlman's audience for his Toronto performance (Mucho gracias to a friend who insisted that this performance was not to be missed - He was right!). Not knowing what to expect, Perlman's performance was insurmountably perfect. In fact, now having heard what Vivadi sounds like from the strings of Perlman, my ears have been forever spoiled. My CDs just don't sound quite the same. Though, I still listen to reminisce on Perlman's spectacular performance. *Sigh* (the good kind!) Undeniably, a Virtuoso of the violin indeed.
