Irony.
I'm Chinese, so by default, I'm a massive rice consumer. Along side that, I should also own a traditional Chinese get-up for special occasions. "Ay, there's the rub!" (A little Hamlet for ya!) I don't eat that much rice nor do I own any traditional Chinese clothing. Besides, the Chinese culture dates back, oh, just say 1000 years to not scare anyone, which dynasty have we deemed traditional? *shrug* I dunno. The point I'm trying to get at here (and you know I'm going to make a HUGE leap!) is that I'm dressed like a red envelop right now. Why? Definitely not because I'm Chinese and it's Chinese New Year, instead, it's for a conference my work is hosting, where the decor/theme is Chinese New Year (How appropriate!) and they bought me a RED shiny polyester top with gold embroidery to wear (it's really not that bad, I've been told!) ... the Style perhaps resembles that from the Ch'ing Dynasty - Is that considered traditional? Now getting back to the title of "Irony", well, you should get the point! If you don't, get used to it because that's how I write most of the time.
