Maintenance.


In the spectrum of high to low maintenance girlfriends, I have always considered myself somewhat low maintenance. Though I have been told I'm secretly high maintenance because I have these crazy expectations that I never communicate. (I'm still thinking about that one!) Anyway, I heard the most interesting phrase yesterday - "Reverse Maintenance." What does that mean? Let's take an example. Your car has a check engine light, and you've been driving the car for years but the light has always been off. Suddenly, you think to yourself, "I wonder if the light works? Maybe I should bring the car in to be looked at just in case." - so "reverse maintenance" is simply a position you take to put the other person in a proactive mode or worse, paranoia. I haven't decided whether "reverse maintenance" is a good thing or not, what do you think?
