Tidbit about me


I use to tactfully change topics of conversation, and now I just talk about Squirrels. I provide you with some examples and maybe you'll realize why I do it....hehe, cuz it's really funny to get people's reaction! Here goes:

Example 1:
Concerned Friend_1: It's ok, you can tell me.
Liz: Did you know a squirrel got ran over by a car today near my house?
Concerned Friend_1: Huh?!
---Concerned Friend_1 is so confused with sudden topic change that they are completely thrown off their train of thought! hehe

Example 2:
Concerned Friend_2: What's wrong?
Liz: The squirrels are getting fat, instead of 4 little prints they make on snow, you see a big circle every now and then between the footprints, I think that's their tummy! But it's kinda cute tho!
Concerned Friend_2: Huh?!?!
---By the time Concerned Friend_2 figures out why I just said what I said, they would have forgetten what they were getting at

Example 3:
Concerned Friend_3: Why are you always talking about squirrels?
Liz: Are you sure you want to get me started?
Concerned Friend_3: [Silence]
---If you talk about squirrels enough times, they'll know not to get you started

I apologize to anyone who has ever heard me talk about squirrels! hehe...
