hehehe...Please don't ask me to explain how the two relate, but I had the most fantastic time last evening watching the movie "Bend it like Beckham" and later gliding on a big patch of ice in front of my house. You see, it was late in the evening, the streets are dark and no one is around, which also means that I can act as stupid as I like, because no one sees. When I was a kid, it was not a spectacle to play in snow or slide on ice, but when you become an old geezer like myself, playing in the snow and sliding on ice in front of your own house seems a little more than ridiculous =) So being the thoughtful person that I am, I spared my family the humilation of having a retard at home and I turn my head away from the opportunity to play in daylight. However, that doesn't stop me from playing on ice under the street lights =) And I must say, I had a lot of fun! hehehe....Snow and Ice in April? Bring it on! Just so I can repeat myself, "Bend it like Beckham" is a brilliant and funny movie. I give it two thumbs up!
