Stopping at a Red light

I was one traffic light from home after spending some quality time with my little munchkins (nephews) last night. Foot firmly on the brakes, I indulged myself in some head bopping music on the radio when I realized that the car to my left had a passenger half way out the rear passenger window, making faces my way with his tongue hanging out. The boy was perhaps 13-15 years old. I decided not to make eye contact and kept my eyes on the traffic light that was still red, but then to my surprise, I saw two police cars right behind me. Yikes, was I speeding earlier?, I thought to myself.

The light turned green and I slowly accelerated. The police flashed its lights as soon as we passed the intersection and with one quick ring of their siren, the idiots in the SUV were pulled over! :D

Moral of the story? Stupidity never goes unpunished!
