Elevator Story


I was riding in the Elevator around lunch hour, so it was no surprise that more and more people piled in at each stop. Eventually, I was forced into the corner, I was the closest to the elevator buttons, so I was in charge of pressing the door close button. As more and more people filled the elevator, I found myself unable to see the buttons I was pressing, and I went by memory as to where to door close button was located. Funny enough, the button was placed just above the 'call the operator' button and I pressed it by mistake. All of a sudden, the elevator speaker turned into a speaker phone and it was ringing. It rang once, twice and again, and I said out loud "You'd think calls from an elevator would be urgent." People chuckled. After about 5 rings, we got the automated response which put us on hold for the next available representative and cheesy elevator music commenced. "They put us on HOLD?" I said loudly, "What if we were stuck in the elevator??" I continued. Luckily, the call was picked up by an operator after 2 minutes of on hold music.
"Hi, you have reached the *** call center. How may I help you?" said Mr. Operator.
"Um...Sorry, err...wrong number!" I replied and Mr. Operator hung up.
Shortly after that, we reached the lobby and everyone left the elevator laughing.

I lost my dinner & cake


No, I didn't misplace my dinner, but my dinner got away from me. I couldn't keep it, literally =) To save you from any unpleasant details, let's just say I will not be reaping the nutritions of my dinner last night. After I lost my dinner, I decided that I can't miss out on the birthday cake. Like your typical goldfish, I had two slices of cake...hehe, ended up that I didn't keep that for too long either. Surprisingly, I'm not that green in the face today or maybe I should give thanks to Clinique's Plum Gorgeous blush. It hides green fantastically well! =)

I'm in LOVE! Absolutely without a doubt in LOVE!!!! This gentleman goes by the name Jonathan Spinks, and he's the most wonderful thing that's walked into my life since...Second Cup Mocca No Whip, Foam, made with Skim Milk. =) I feel like dorothy from the wizard of Oz today. Why you ask? It's because I'm wearing red shoes. I've been trying to buy a pair of normal black shoes for the longest time, but everything I try, I end up with a pair of non-black shoes, this would be my 4th failed attempt! hehe, I wonder what it is about black shoes that I can bring myself to buy...ideas anyone? or recommendation on a good place to buy black shoes!

doctor, I smell burnt toast...


Actually, more like burnt Hard Drive. My hard drive at work died yesterday, what a horrible day it was, I lost my work from the previous week, so I'm officially 1 week behind at work =( *sniff* *sniff* On the bright side, I got a replacement hard drive almost immediately, tho I had to spend the rest of the day reinstalling stuff...these are things I'd only want to do once every other year, they take so so so so long, not to mention configuring it afterwards. But things are up and running again and as you can tell, I'm diligently working to catch up! hehe, okok, back to work for me!


On a side note, Guinea pig produces the most poop of any little animal I've ever seen, but they're so adorable and their poop looks all the same, it's kinda funny...hehehe...the guinea pig is like a little poop factory, cookie cutter poop! hehehe
